Rotating shifts, sales targets, difficult customers and floor decorum rules all sometimes become too much to handle and take a toll on one’s productivity. ibex. digital HRBP Team examined such a situation under the microscope and felt the need to equip our employees with different techniques to combat stress.

Contrary to the usual classroom training approach, we worked with popular fitness experts Adnan Farooq in Lahore & Afsheen Raees Yogi in Karachi and devised Yoga/fitness Program with an aim to help employees learn practical techniques and tips to deal with the stress.

With a total duration of 3 hours split into two days, the program outline included healthy lifestyle management, healthy food choices, yoga postures & mudras, meditation, breathing exercises etc. The employees, who participated in this activity, were from Operations and Support Departments.

The feedback received on this activity has been very encouraging. Participants gave reviews like, “This was much needed keeping in mind our office routine. I will continue these exercises in my daily routine.” and “It was a good session where we learned how important physical health is for life. We performed various exercises which help to reduce the headache and body stiffness resulting in a relaxed body and better concentration at work.”
